When 3D printing becomes more affordable you ought to try making large scale 3D prints of these things and get them into art galleries.

These things would work better in an art gallery if they were, say, the size of a sofa or a car rather than something small in your hand. They'd have much more impact. Seriously mate, 3D printing is at the cutting edge of sculpture right now, it's going to be the next big thing in the fine art world. As 3D sculpture is so new it might be worth finding out who all the leading 3D printer manufacturers are, try chancing your arm and contacting them to see if they'd be interested in helping you print your designs out. They're all looking for ways to push their tech's envelope and get publicity at the same time. Has to be worth giving it a shot.

we are at the cusp of 3D printing opening up whole new avenues of manufacturing.....custom made replacement parts for
classic cars and such......all kinds of custom manufacture....and artwork as well....yeah it would be totally wild to see one of these
kind of things big enough to walk through......how cool that would be!!!
